2012/2013 season:
3/9/2013: Chicken BBQ today at Metro's in Owego from noon - 3pm. $9 per dinner.
2/4/2013: Reminder - This Saturday February 9th at Metro's from 1-3pm there is a club dinner - dish to pass, 50/50 raffles, silent auction and a meet & greet!
1/11/2013:
The poker run/scavanger hunt that had been cheduled for this Sunday has been postponed due to this terrible weather. It will be re-scheduled once the weather improves.....and hopefully that's not too far away.
1/9/2013:
Well that was a nice tease to the start of the season. Hopefully we get some more cold weather after this weekend. Until then, our trails should be considered to be closed, as we're down to mud and dirt at many road crossings, and the weather is only expected to get warmer as we head into this weekend.

Poker run/scavenger hunt: January 13th 2013 (weather permitting!)
Starts at the intersection of S-57, and will end at Geo'z Restaurant, (rt 26). $5 to play.
February 9th at Metro's 1-3pm: club dinner - dish to pass, 50/50 raffles, silent auction and a meet & greet.
March 10th, at Metro's. Chicken BBQ:
Tickets will be handed out at one of the meetings in January and will need to be returned by February 21st.
11/18/2012: Upcoming club events/reminders:
* Club officer elections will be held at our next meeting (Dec 6).
* A snowmobile safety course will be held on Dec 8th at the Newark Valley Fire Dept. See forum post for details.
* Please remember that snowmobile trails are closed regardless of snow cover, until after hunting season ends. Trails open no earlier than 12/21/2012, provided adequate snow cover. Thanks!
11/3/2012: A long, cold, snowy winter is nearly upon us. Anyone who helps out with signing please refresh yourself with the NYS Snowmobile Trail Signing Handbook.

3/23/11: Trails are CLOSED per landowner request. The ground is too soft and wet to support snowmobiling. Thanks!
2/9/11: The club ride has been re-scheduled for this Sunday 2/13/11. Times and departure locations remain the same: 8 a.m. from the Owego Moose, and approximately 9 a.m. from the former TSI on route 38.
2/7/11: We are registering a team for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Event, to be held May 13-14th at Hickories Park in Owego. Please see the post in our forum for more details.
2/6/11: The club ride has been postponed due to the rain and warm temps yesterday. We will re-schedule once conditions improve.
2/2/11: On Sat 2/5/11 we are having a club meet-and-greet off of trail C5 on the way to Maine. Free food and drink will be available. Come check out the new tracked Blazer! 10 a.m. - ? All club members and non-members are welcome!
On Sun 2/6/11 we are having a club ride, departing from the Owego Moose at around 8 a.m. A stop will be made at the parking area of the former TSI on route 38 for anyone leaving from there. Parking is available at both locations. The ride will continue on to Louie's cabin in Berkshire for lunch. All club members and non-members are welcome!
1/19/11: All trails open!
1/12/11: New groomer will be arriving this week. Trails at the higher elevations may be open conditions permitting. Please use caution and make sure there is adequate snow (>6") befor riding trails.
1/10/11: Trails are closed! We need 6" or more of snow before riding, or our landowners will close the trails!
12/6/10: PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OUR TRAIL SYSTEM DOES NOT OPEN UNTIL AFTER DEER SEASON, DECEMBER 22, 2010, REGARDLESS OF SNOW COVER! RIDING BEFORE THIS DATE SERIOUSLY JEPRODIZES OUR ENTIRE TRAIL SYSTEM!
12/4/10: We're having a Toys for Tots drive at the next meeting on 12/16/10. Anyone who wishes to participate please bring an unwrapped gift suitable for ages 6 months - 12 years to the meeting on the 16th!
11/28/10: A new image gallery has been added to the website. See link on upper left side of web page. All members are welcome to register and upload their favorite pictures.
11/01/10: The new bridge off of Ballou Hill road in Berkshire is complete. See image gallery for pictures of the project.
